If it is a sin, would it be considered a major or minor sin?
What constitutes a beard? Does it have to be a certain length? Can it even be trimmed or cut?
In this video, I answer and explain.

Assalamualikum – thanks for this. I just wanted to know that since when leaving something OBLIGATORY is not a major sin? It is offcourse Gunah e Kabira according to most of the scholars. Let me know if you need reference. Since the Sanad is strong and the hadees is mutawatir (higher level than sahih) and the message is clear so it is Wajib to keep it and someone who doesn’t keep it would be a major sinner.
