Whoever suffices with knowledge of the Qurʾān and Sunnah, confining himself to what is reported from the Companions and Successors (in matters of the religion), makes his intention sincere – seeking Allāh’s face - and turns to Him for help, He will aid him, guide him, grant him divine accord, make him firm, grant him understanding, and inspire him.

Allah subhanahu has explained in His Book that He is the Helper of believers in this world and the next.

From the wisdom of fasting is that: It is an act of worship done for Allah, in which the ‘abd (servant) draws closer to His Lord by abandoning the things that he loves and desires. So because of this, the truthfulness of his Faith and the completeness of his servitude to Allah become apparent, as well as his love for Allah and his longing for what Allah has prepared for him (of good).

From the beautiful words of the famous Imaam, describing the Greatness of Allah: The hearts are unmasked to Him and the secret is unveiled. His giving and punishing is merely a Command, "Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, 'Be, and it is!'" [36:82]...

What to do if your parents tell you to disobey Allah and His Messenger.

In this lies a great secret from the secrets of Tawheed. This is that the heart cannot become firm, it cannot find satisfaction and it cannot find tranquillity except by reaching out to Him....
